UniNi Children’s University was founded in 2016 by the Headmaster, Rebecca. Rebecca spent over twenty years researching on Childhood Education during her years living in Europe and devised a holistic teaching philosophy which integrates behaviour management and the HighScope learning approach.
This philosophy takes on a distinctly different approach than the mainstream education curriculum in China. Beyond imparting knowledge through traditional books and classes, UniNi takes on the stand that learning has to be made relevant for children. This is done through experiential and out-of-classroom learning.
At UniNi, it is believed that character building is fundamental to the success of an individual, particularly in the growing up years of a child. As such, we place the mission of developing the seven elements of character development at the heart of our curriculum: Passion, Gratitude, Optimism, Social awareness, Curiosity, Self-control and Determination.
More importantly, UniNi sees each and every child as a complete, independent and unique entity. By understanding the children’s needs and respecting their personal wishes, we support these little ones by helping them become a better version of themselves through developing their dominant character and adjusting the shortcomings of their personality. We believe in guiding our children to help them recognise their potential, set goals, plan for the future and ultimately achieve self-actualisation.
For decades, this educational philosophy has benefitted countless of children in solving various challenges in their growth and has undoubtedly succeeded in helping them achieve a more meaningful and smooth sailing life journey.
