An outstanding dinning experience. Authentic, high quality tasty food, friendly and fast service. Great selection of beers, craft beers and wines. One of the few places in Tianjin with vegan food options. Cozy outdoor terrace with a friendly atmosphere if you haven't been there yet....it's really highly recommendable and a must if you are looking for true Italian food in Tianjin.

I recently arrived in Tianjin after living in various parts of China, with pleasant surprise I discovered this Italian restaurant where I could find some Italian traditional dishes made by high quality of products and one of best pizza I ate in China. The wine list is very amazing, with a large range of price.

I often go to the Venezia Club to have a dinner, so I can say with certainty that it's the best Italian restaurant in Tianjin. I have tried many different dishes and all of them are very tasty but my favorites are the Caprese pizza, the homemade pasta with the "bresaola", the plate of mixed salami and the classic tiramisu. I always like to finish my dinner with a good italian espresso coffee. If you want try the original italian taste you can't miss this place.

I visited this restaurant twice and both times the food has been nothing short of perfect. I had been longing for a good lasagne and when I saw it on their menu, i stopped looking! It was the best i have had in Tianjin, the flavour was immense and you could taste the genuine quality preperation and ingredients. I also tried their pizza and it is probably the best authentic pizza available.
I will definately be going back!

The best italian restaurant in Tianjin, the products and the raw materials are imported from Italy. The food's recipes are made in the real home cooking Italian tradition and the menu is very rich of different kinds of pasta, pizza, meat and fish, moreover it is present a good list of wines and beers. Every room has differently enviroments in the classic Italian style, with ornaments, photo and objects rare and unique. The restaurant has various quality certifications from the Italian and Chinese Government.

At some point last year the owner's brother came over from Italy and made some delicious fresh pasta. Still waiting for him to return.

I Dislike
No matter what I order, I always end up spending at least 250 RMB. They will charge even for the pumpkin seeds they bring together with alcoholic drinks, and sometimes items get misteriously added into the bill. Food quality is very average (deli meats are often much too dry, pizza is not authentic), and the decor is a bit too tacky for my liking.

We had an excellent Mix Plate with ham, sausages, olives etc and then shared a pizza and had some beer, coffee and Grappa with that. It was simply great. The service has improved alot since last year and we got the food quickly. Everything seemed to have been improved in this restaurant. Great food at a very cosy restaurant in one of the best areas in TJ.

I Dislike
Last year alot of things needed to improve but now it was great.

How Do I Find An Ayi (Maid/Household Help)
How Do I Find An Ayi (Maid/Household Help)   If you live on your own, there are tons of advantages to hiring someone to help you clean and cook. What I've done is hired someone to work two hours a day around lunch hour to help me clean (sweep & squeegee-or-whatever-you-call-that-thing the floor, pick up random clutter, handle laundry, heat a thermos of water, dishes) and to make the day's food for us. ...
How Do I Connect To The Internet?
How Do I Connect To The Internet?   Depending on which part of Tianjin or the complex/building you live in, Tianjin offers you varieties of internet service providers. Internet Connection installation is usually handled by your landlord. Suggest you talk to your landlord and see what options you have there for your building/area. Chinese people don’t care too much for internet speed so whenever you move in a house/apartment, makes sure to tell your landlord to apply for the fastest connection package available. ...
How Do I Pay For My Electricity?
How does the electricity generally work?   Most electricity in Tianjin is purchased in advance by the unit, to be consumed only after purchase. However, some people must pay a bill collector who personally comes to their door every month to collect. After removing the plastic cover, the head of this...
How Do I Rent An Apartment
Tianjin Housing Guide   When it comes to renting an apartment, best you have some local friends with you as you will be ripped off regardless of what once the landlord/agent knows you are a laowai/foreigner. For this, don’t ever give in the agents or the landlords. Commission is...
How Do I Seek Medical Care In Tianjin?
Hospitals in general:   There are little clinics every few blocks in Tianjin, and if you've got something minor, go there. I'd recommend getting a medical translation dictionary. The doctors are usually competent IF they know what you're talking about, and they'll listen, again, if you know what you're saying to them, but they can be super pushy if they don't. Also, they've got a pretty wide array of basic Western antibiotics and such, but you've got to know the translation....
