Blue Lotus is Tianjin very first foreign owned yoga studio, offering yoga classes in English!
The studio offers daily yoga classes for all levels practitioners, from newbies to advanced yogis, and focuses on a more traditional approach to yoga, therefore all classes include breathing exercises, physical postures and short meditations.
The studio currently focuses on Hatha flows, where a thought through sequence of strenghtening and stretching yoga poses will keep your mind busy, or in the flow, throughout the whole practice, so that at the end you will have forgot all of the worries you had first brought onto your mat!
We also offer Yin Yoga classes, which consist in mainly seating poses held for a longer time. While yin yoga might be easier on the body, it is definitely more challenging for the mind! Nevertheless you'll be surprised of how much physical and emotional tension we can release through a good yin yoga practice!
Last but not least, we also offer for more advanced yogis, the possibility to bring their practice to the next level by offering Pranayama (breath control and breath work practices) and meditation sessions, with special techniques that will allow you to conquer your mind twirls and reach a yogic state of mind in and easier and faster way!
As we have tried ourselves the great benefits that a daily yoga practice can bring in terms of physical and mental stability, the mission of Blue Lotus is to help you make yoga part of your daily routine.
To do so we have scheduled classes throughout the day, from the early morning, to the late evening, to allow for more flexibility to your busy schedule.
If the goal is to practice daily to get the most benefits from your yoga practice, of course classes can't be overpriced: at Blue Lotus we priced our classes so that your weekly yoga practices won't cost you more than your Friday Pizza&beer night!
