The He^2 Café and Bar Club is situated between the popular tourist destinations of the Tianjin Ancient Culture Street 天津古文化街 and the Haihe River 海河, making it the perfect spot to stop off for a coffee, beer or lunch during your tourist route, or a place to retire in the evenings for some tasty gourmet bar/pub food, beers and cocktails.
We had a selection of the bar snacks: chicken wings, calamari, battered fish bites, and black pepper chicken - all very tasty. We had some beers and of course, a mojito cocktail. The mojito was probably one of the freshest tasting mojitos I've had in China. We also had the tiramisu dessert, which was absolutely delicious and loaded with coffee liquor!
The bar is welcoming to Expats, the menu is in English and the staff can understand and speak English. There are also side rooms (with privacy blinds) available, if you wanted that date with extra privacy or that group party that's a little bit more special (there is also a pretty unique feature of a conveyor serving belt in the group room - cool!).
