Whisk the flour, salt, and baking powder in a mixing bowl. Mix in the lard with your fingers until the flour begins to thicken; place mixture on a floured surface and knead for a few minutes until it's smooth and stretchy. Divide the dough into equal pieces and roll each piece into a ball.
Preheat a large skillet with medium - high heat. Use a well-floured rolling pin to roll a dough ball into a think, round tortilla. Place into the hote skillet and cook until it becomes bubbly and golden; flip and continue cooking until the other side is golden. Place the cooked tortilla on a plate aside and repeat process.

Let it cook until brown and crispy on both sides with about 3 minutes per side. Remove finished quesadilla, and repeat with remaining ingredients!
