8 Edit your event – Add pictures

Sans titre 1 01

There is as many ways to edit your events as there is different computer users

We recommend:
-Start from scratch {or copy/paste of plain text}- use the editor to center, put in color, bold, change font, add images; the limit is your imagination.
-Copy/paste from a webpage. Result may vary on how the webpage was coded
-Copy/paste from an official moment. WeChat do not allow copy paste of pictures, you will have to upload them manually
-Copy/paste from a word file with no illustration. Layout will be preserved

You may try: (it is the geek way, computer skills are needed)
-Copy paste a word with illustration (photos, graphics). You may try copy/paste, and it may freeze your browser. Best case the editor, will replace image by upload icons and you will ask to upload images. So you will need to extract illustration from the word (you can save your word to html in order to extract pictures)
-Save your word into html document, upload the images with the file browser. Look at the real path of the images into the editor, edit your local html file with notepad, search change local path for real path, then copy paste your html code into the editor, after switching him

Picture managment

Adding picture is done with the file manager, you can create new folder (recommended), upload images, retrieve the path of your images

Tip for expert: If you want to add a lot of picture, rename them pic1, pic2, pic3, … ,pic10, then upload them all into a new directory. Insert the first one, change the editor into html mode, copy the code of you first picture, then past it how many times you need, you just have to change the number at the end and change back to normal editor to see the result.

8 Edit contact: you can put your mail and/or phone and/or WeChat

10 Upload an image that will illustrate your event into the calendar, please not that image will be resized to 4:3 ratios. So if you don’t provide a 4:3 image it could appear deformed

11 Save your work by clicking on the green save and quit, on the top left of the page.

Tip for expert: before saving you can protect your work against network failure by clicking on [Edit html code, or copy, paste, save your work before submitting] then select all with ctrl+a, then copy all with ctrl+c and paste it into Notepad. That way you work is safe if any problem occurs, you can paste it back (ctrl+v) into the html editor in case of failure

12 Edit, delete, alter your event
Congratulations your event is in the calendar, you can view it and edit it by clicking on the top/right icon. You need to be logged in to edit your event.

How Do I Find An Ayi (Maid/Household Help)
How Do I Find An Ayi (Maid/Household Help)   If you live on your own, there are tons of advantages to hiring someone to help you clean and cook. What I've done is hired someone to work two hours a day around lunch hour to help me clean (sweep & squeegee-or-whatever-you-call-that-thing the floor, pick up random clutter, handle laundry, heat a thermos of water, dishes) and to make the day's food for us. ...
How Do I Connect To The Internet?
How Do I Connect To The Internet?   Depending on which part of Tianjin or the complex/building you live in, Tianjin offers you varieties of internet service providers. Internet Connection installation is usually handled by your landlord. Suggest you talk to your landlord and see what options you have there for your building/area. How Do I Rent An Apartment
Tianjin Housing Guide   When it comes to renting an apartment, best you have some local friends with you as you will be ripped off regardless of what once the landlord/agent knows you are a laowai/foreigner. For this, don’t ever give in the agents or the landlords. Commission is...
How Do I Seek Medical Care In Tianjin?
Hospitals in general:   There are little clinics every few blocks in Tianjin, and if you've got something minor, go there. I'd recommend getting a medical translation dictionary. The doctors are usually competent IF they know what you're talking about, and they'll listen, again, if you know what you're saying to them, but they can be super pushy if they don't. Also, they've got a pretty wide array of basic Western antibiotics and such, but you've got to know the translation....
